We recommend that you first update your node and npm by following these instructions then update your Cobalt CLI by running npm install -g cobaltians again.

A cool side effect of this release is that you can now create a new app from the SideMenu sample too!

Waffle or Taiga Kanban?

We use Taiga with the Scrum method since a year now. It is far better than IceScrum that we used before.
But the Scrum process is still too heavy to maintain in an Open source project which can be redirected quickly. It happened quite often that we were working on some features which were not planned in the current sprint.

So we need to go Kanban!

Some of us have successful stories with the Kanban method of Taiga.

But another option exists, Waffle. It uses GitHub issues as tasks and it is quite good because it avoids to track features and bugs in different places (the tasks we move on the Kanban board are the related GitHub issues).
However, this leads to an increase of issues on GitHub because every task is an issue. So tagging is needed to clean the mess.

Now, we have to choose, and fast, because we have a lot on our plate!
Get yourself heard!

So, should we use Taiga Kanban or Waffle?

  • Taiga (25%, 1 Votes)
  • Other (suggest!) (25%, 1 Votes)
