BrestJS

Last month, we were at BrestJS for talk and a coding session. The coding session was a 3 hours deep learning of cobalt: sending events, using hybrid controllers with a native part and a Web part, playing with plugins and few more things.

The BrestJS team was very friendly and everybody was well focused. Good work Brest people!

We hope everybody enjoyed the session as much as we did and we will work on enhancing this kind of events before the next one: the BreizhCamp Lab on Thursday 15 April.

New community tools

Hi all !

We recently set up some new tools for the Cobalt Community to work together. We wanted something more than just the issue tracker. And we needed to outsource the Cobalt sprints plans, that we hosted previously internally @kristal.io

So we have decided to give a try to Taiga.io : A new scrum/kanban tool out there. Free for OpenSource projects; there are public projects too.

We used it for the 0.4 release and filled it with our roadmap for the next sprints. Check it out :

We also wanted something cool to talk together. Something between skype and the old IRC. We gave a try to Slack.com which seems to do a great job.

If you want to join us on Slack, drop us a line at contact@cobaltians.org and we will invite you !

We hope those tools will suit our needs. If you have any suggestions, just tell us, we are listening :)
